A lot of performances during weddings, especially during the marriage ceremony, have marked Anđelas spring and beginning of summer 2010. 09.12.2009: ANŠELA PERFORMS IN FRANKFURT
FRANKFURT – Anđela will perform at X-mas party in the Enigma club in Frankfurt. The concert will take place on Friday, December 11th at 10pm. Within the X-mas party she will perform live with Slash band. Anđela is now official band member. Besides live music there will be DJ Damir and DJ Kiki. 14.10.2009: ANDJELA ON IMPULSI-CD
FRANKFURT – In these days Anđela's voice can be heard on the new album of the Croatian band Impulsi called „Ljubav je snaga“. Not only did she sing the back vocals in a lot of new songs of Impulsi, but Anđela also excellently performed longer parts in the songs „Iskreno“ by writer Srećo Stojčević and „Dajem ti srce“ by Marko Pavić, which in a way is special due to its nice jazz production. On the new Impulsi CD there can be also found the song „Zemljo moja“ which is performed by the charity band CROunitas including Anđela as a performer as well.
08.09.2009: ANDJELA AT BEST OF 97 CUP
HAMBURG – The most special moment during the first international youth football tournament „Best of 97 Cup – Integration kinderleicht“ in Hamburg belonged to singer Anđela. Before the final between a selection of Croatian players from top German clubs and VFL Wolfsburg, Anđela performed the German and Croatian national anthem, which was a great experience for the upcoming football stars. Among others these teams also participated: Hajduk Split, Werder Bremen, Hertha BSC Berlin, Hamburger SV, St. Pauli... Winner was the Croatian selection from Germany, Hajduk Split finished third.
08.07.2009: ANDJELA GUEST ON BOOK PRESENTATION
GORNJA BRELA – The presentation of Dražen Zečić's first book called „Look the truth in the eyes“ was a come-together of a lot of his friends and colleagues, of course Anđela as well. The „official“ part of the program was moderated by Damir Mihanović Čubi. Some facts about the book were told by editor Ilija Protuđer and Dražen Zečić, while actor Vedran Mlikota read a few of the poems/songs. In a great atmosphere of the restaurant „Roko“, where Dražen's career began, his guests enjoyed in a lot of domestic delicacies.
– It is a great honour for me to be among Dražen's guests and it is even a greater honour that the texts of our duets „Ima li nade za nas“ and „Nema ništa novo“, as well as my solo songs „Buduće godine“ and „Nikada ja nisam shvatila“ found a place inside the book. Dražen writes and sings songs from his heart and for sure the crowd recognizes this, said Anđela.
Among others the book presentation was visited by Mate Bulić, Ivo Jagnjić from Dalmatino bend, Alen Nižetić, Giuliano, Pero Panjković, Ante Pupačić Pupi, Banana bend, soccer players Vlatko Đolonga and Darko Miladin, Branko Paić, Ivica Bubalo, painter Mario Tomas, teams from CMC and HRT, as well as a lot of other musicians and colleagues of Dražen Zečić. FRANKFURT – Springtime and summertime are periods of joy and a lot of family celebrations, particularly weddings. With her long experience in singing spiritual songs and her wide repertoire of church songs in Croatian, German or English, Anđela in these days is in great demand on wedding ceremonies. Bridal couples emphasize particularly solemn atmospheres and in this sense well-performed songs are a very important element of every church wedding. 11.05.2009: I ENJOY SINGING IN THE CHURCH
DARMSTADT – Since she was a small girl Anđela sings in the choir of the Croatian catholic mission in Darmstadt. During the mass on Sundays in the church St. Fidelis Anđela supports her colleagues from the choir as often as she can. Very often you can hear Anđela sing solo in the church as well. – I enjoy singing in the church. It is something special for me and you cannot compare this with performances within concerts. I can say that I learned a lot while singing in the choir in Darmstadt and I always enjoy singing in the church, said Anđela. The organ player in Darmstadt is also called Anđela – it is sister Anđela Milas who cooperates very well with Anđela. In these days the choir in Darmstadt played an important role during the celebration of the sacraments of communion and confirmation in Darmstadt.
23.02.2009: ANDJELA PERFORMED WITH CROunitas
FRANKFURT – The first Croatian charity band outside Croatia CROunitas performed during the spectacular gala concert „Golden flower of Slobodna Dalmacija 2009.“, during which this Croatian newspapaer announced awards for the most popular Croatian Catholic missions, web pages, sports clubs, restaurants and businessmen. Of course, Anđela Kolar (see photo, © fotostudio Damir Dragun) as one of the founders of CROunitas also took part in this great event.
Anđela performed accompanied by the band Slash a very nice jazz ballad „Kao sol u moru“ (Like salt in the sea), she sang with Marko Pavić in his song „Križanje sreće“ (Crossroads of happiness), and in the end she was on stage with CROunitas performing „Zemljo moja“ (My country) live. The crowd in Midas Forum in Grosskrotzenburg was enthusiastic about the song which can already be seen as a video on CMC television. – It is a great pleasure that the crowd knew our song and sang with us. This gives us additional motivation for going on very soon with new activities within the charity project for the association of disabled chldren „Anđeli“ in Split, said Anđela to media representatives. 02.02.2009: CROunitas part of the Golden flower
FRANKFURT – Anđela Kolar will perform as a part of the first Croatian charity band outside Croatia, CROunitas, during the spectacular concert „Golden Flower of Slobodna Dalmacija" which will take place on February, 21st in Grosskrotzenburg near Frankfurt.
CROunitas will perform the song „Zemljo moja“. Besides Anđela the audience will see Marko Pavić, Robert Čolina, Saša Amic Slash (on the photo with Anđela), Karmen Kočila, Nicole Jukić and the group Chorus Croaticus from Switzerland on stage.
After having finished the video spot „Zemljo moja“ CROunitas are working on editing a CD and DVD. The performance in Grosskrotzenburg announces more activities in favour of the association „Anđeli" from Split.
Besides singing with CROunitas Anđela Kolar will perform one more song within the program of the „Golden Flower 2009".
23.01.2009: ANDJELA AGAIN AMONG THE BEST
FRANKFURT - Anđela Kolar was nominated in this year's voting for the most popular Croatian singers living abroad organised by the newspaper Večernji list. Among other musicians and singers Anđela was nominated by readers of Večernji list. Votes can be done by filling put coupons from the newspaper. In these days Anđela was presented on the pages of Večernji list. Already last year Anđela was in the finals of the voting. Due to her great success during the last months, performances in "Cibona" and Split, as well as the charity project CROunitas, a good result can be expected in this year, too.
09.12.2008: HIT OF THE DAY ON CMC
FRANKFURT – Anđela Kolar once again participates in a music video which was elected „hit of the day“ on Croatian music Channel CMC. It is, of course, the song „Zemljo moja“ peformed by the first Croatian charity band outside Croatia which was founded by Anđela and Marko Pavić from Impulsi.
The video clip was produced by Željko Petreš and was first shown last week-end on CMC. CROunitas now announces the start of a charity action for the Association of parents of disabled children „Anđeli“ from Split. The video „Zemljo moja“ can be viewed on the web page www.crounitas.com, but very soon on Anđela's page as well.
17.11.2008: ANDJELA AGAIN ON HRT
ZAGREB – On Sunday November 23rd Croatian television HRT is emitting the second show "Lijepom našom" recorded in Germany, this time from Philharmone Munich where the concert was organised during the celebrations of the 60th anniversary of the Croatian catholic community.
In the show Anđela Kolar will perform the songs „Zemlja dide mog“ and „Nema ništa novo“ with the bend Slavonski dukati. Don't miss the show on HRT1 which begins on November 23rd at 15.45h.

13.11.2008: ANDJELA PERFORMED IN MUNICH
MUNICH – Within the celebrations of the 60th anniversary of the Croatian catholic mission in Munich, Croatian television recorded a new episode of the popular serial „Lijepom našom“ in the Philharmonie Gasteig. Anđela Kolar also participated in the show in Munich performing live the songs „Zemlja dide mog“ and „Nema ništa novo“ with the bend Slavonski dukati. The audience in Munich was amazed by Anđela's performance and also by the song „Zdravo djevo kraljice Hrvata“ which she performed at the end of the show with all other artists and anchorman Branko Uvodić. 10.11.2008: "LIJEPOM NASOM" IN SINDELFINGEN
SINDELFINGEN – In a phantastic atmosphere in the Stadthalle Sindelfingen Croatian radio-television (HRT) recorded a new edition the popular tv-serial „Lijepom našom“ with participation of Anđela Kolar. Anđela performed the well-known Slavonian song „Đenka“ and accompanied by Slavonski dukati and Marija Pavković Snaša she sang a new version of the great hit „Ima li nade za nas“. Nearly two thousand spectators rewarded her performance with a great applause. Besides Anđela there were also performances of folklore groups, tambura orchesters, the choire Salve Angeli, Evelin Novak, Đani Stipaničev, Mate Bulić and Kićo Slabinac. In the end of the show all participants performed the song „Zdravo djevo, kraljice Hrvata“. Anchorman was of course Branko Uvodić. Father Marinko Vukman as host welcomed the major of Sindelfingen dr. Bernd Vöhringer, HRT-director Vanja Sutlić, Danira Bilić, head of the Croatian heritage foundation and a lot of other guests. 06.11.2008: ANDJELA IN "LIJEPOM NASOM"
FRANKFURT – Anđela Kolar will perform in the popular serial „Lijepom našom“ with host Branko Uvodić in Croatian television (HRT). HRT will record a report about the Croatian Catholic community in Sindelfingen. On this occasion a show of „Lijepom našom“ will be recorded on November, 8th in the Stadthalle Sindelfingen. Anđela will perform two songs. More than one thousand spectators are expected for the show.
30.10.2008: MUSIC VIDEO "ZEMLJO MOJA"
FRANKFURT - Zemljo moja (My country) – this is the song title of the first Croatian aid-band founded abroad on initiative of singers Anđela Kolar and Marko Pavić. A music video for this song with which the CROunitas band wants to help the parents association for disabled children „Anđeli“ (Angels) in Split, was recorded in Frankfurt by well-known director Željko Petreš from Šibenik.
Besides Anđela and Marko in the video also appear Karmen Kočila, Nicole Jukić, Robert Čolina, Saša Amić and the young piano player Antonio Macan. The scenes were recorded in Frankfurt, Bruchköbel, in front of the Alte Oper, Zeil, the river Main and in the Croatian Gagos club lounge. Very good work came also by cameraman Tomislav Krnić and stylist Klaudija Galić.
The scenes from Frankfurt will be completed in the new spot by parts from Split and Zagreb, in which there will also be seen famous opera singer Dubravka Šeparović-Mušović and the a capella group Chorus Croaticus from Switzerland.
It is interesting that the video spot will be finished before the CD which is to be edited around Christmas when also the charity action for „Anđeli“ will be started. – I am very glad that we managed to form a young and skilled team of musicians. Now we are waiting for the promotion of the video and the web page of CROunitas. After this the charity action will begin and next year we want to organise a spectacular concert with all participants, said Anđela Kolar.
– We have come together to show that there are also a lot of skilled Croatian musicians living abroad, but also to help people in need, especially children, said Marko Pavić, one of the authors of the song „Zemljo moja“.
The charity action for the association "Anđeli“, will also be supported by the Croatian World Congress and well-known Croats living and working abroad like, for instance, scientist Ivan Đikić.

28.10.2008: AID-BAND CROunitas
FRANKFURT – The first Croatian aid-band abroad was founded on initiative of singers Anđela Kolar and Marko Pavić in Frankfurt. A group of ten well-known Croatian artists living abroad has come together in a charity association „CROunitas“ which recorded the song „Zemljo moja“ (My land).
– In the beginning of this year we had the idea to found an aid-band having in mind to show that there are skilled Croatian singers living abroad, but of course also to help people that are in need, said Anđela Kolar, famous after having performed the hits „Ima li nade za nas“ and „Nema ništa novo“ with Croatian singer Dražen Zečić, but also well-known through her new song „Buduće godine“ from the Croatian radio festival in Opatija.
After the idea was born, a lot of details still had to be done, a song had to be found as well as an ideal combination of singers. All this took quite a long time, so that the first aim to finish the song before the start of the European football championships 2008 could not be realised. – We have done the whole work alone, a lot of contacts were built up and we created a network of supporters, so that we are optimistic about the success of the project, told Marko Pavić.
The idea for the song „Zemljo moja“ was present quite a long time in the jotter of the skilled song-writer from Wiesbaden. – The idea for the melody came by Ante Bošnjak from Mainz who also wrote a part of the text which was finished by Edi Zelić and me, said Marko who worked on the music together with producer Vincent Rox in a Frankfurt studio.
The main performers of „Zemljo moja“ are Anđela Kolar, Marko Pavić, Antonio Macan, Dubravka Šeparović-Mušović, Karmen Kočila, Nicole Jukić, Robert Čolina, Saša Amić and the Dalmatian a capella group Chorus Croaticus from Switzerland. Ante Filipović and Perica Vasić also participated. – Every singer gave a specific touch to the song and this is what we are glad about. In the end we have a modern sound. The text is interesting and easy to remember and the variations in the beginning of the song with world famous opera singer Dubravka, the skilled piano player Antonio Macan, the Dalmatian a capella group from Switzerland and a lot of other effects make the song a quite unique creation, told Anđela Kolar and Marko Pavić.
After the song will be finished in a last mastering in the studio, there will also be a video spot recorded. Especially for this task the well-known director Željko Petreš will come from Šibenik to Frankfurt. A few scenes have already been recorded in Split during the performance of Anđela and the Impulsi bend on the Papa festival with the song „Ti si mojoj duši mir“.
It is, of course, very important to mention the charity action behind the song „Zemljo moja“. All singers have abstained from their gainings in benefit of the parents association „Anđeli“ (Angels) for disabled children in Split. Dijana Aničić, leader of the „Anđeli“, is amazed by the song „Zemljo moja“, but also by the initiative of the Croatian artists living abroad. The association „Anđeli“ was founded in Split in 2005 and tries to help parents in the organisation of everyday life for their disabled children. Rehabilitation, therapy programs and integration are also important fields of duty in which CROunitas wants to help as much as will be possible.
A CD/DVD with the video spot of „Zemljo moja“, an instrumental version and a making-of part will be released until the end of the year. After this a charity campaign will begin that will end in a spectacular concert by CROunitas for „Anđeli“ Split.
- We are glad that we can show the unity of young Croatian artists through the song „Zemljo moja“. Often young people are criticised to forget about their origins and to integrate more and more in other countries. By this song we show that we love to sing in Croatian, that we love our country and that we want to help people in need living there. It will be a pleasure for us to help children from „Anđeli“ in Split and in other Croatian towns, of course with the support of our audience, said Anđela Kolar.

10.10.2008: JOKER BIRTHDAY IN SPLIT
SPLIT – The first anniversary of the shopping center „Joker“ in Split was celebrated with a big party, special discounts and an entertainment program. Besides a concert of the well-known band Magazin, within the celebrations of the anniversary of Željko Kerum's „Joker“ Dražen Zečić and Anđela performed as well.
In the Sky restaurant on top of „Joker“, Zečić and Anđela sang their well-known hits. The party occupied a lot of celebrities from politics, sports and cultural life, of which some like Špiro Guberina, Pero Panjković, Vlatko Đolonga or Ivan Veštić have to be named. 07.10.2008: Anniversary of Papa fest in Solin
SOLIN – During the tenth Papa festival of spiritual music fifteen vocal-instrumental gropus from Croatia performed, among them even one group from Germany – Anđela Kolar and the Impulsi band with Marko Pavić, Robert Čelan, Marijo Bernardić and Srećo Stojčević!
A phantastic evening of spiritual chansons began with the song “Gledam te, bijeli oče”. The sports gym Bilankuša in Solin was completely full with about two thousand spectators.
Among the guests of honor of the tenth Papa fest which is held every year in remembrance of the visit of Holy Father John Paul II, were representatives of the Catholic church in Croatia bishop Ante Jurić and general vicar Ivan Čubelić, as well as president od the Split-Dalmatia region Ante Sanader, major of Solin Blaženko Boban and president of the city council dr. Kajo Bućan. Among the audience there were also don Anđelko Kaćunko, Milan Štrljić, Gordan Bauk and a lot of other celebrities. The festival was opened after a short speech by bishop Ante Ivas.
After they were announced by the two likeable moderators Maja Jozić and Nevena Domazet, Anđela and the Impulsi band performed the song „Ti si mojoj duši mir“ which was written and composed by Edi Zelić, Marko Pavić and Anđela Kolar, whereas the producer was Vincent Rox.
- We are enthusiastic about the festival, the perfect organisation and the performance. It was unforgettable to sing in front of such an audience. You simply feel the incomparable atmosphere and we return to Germany with a lot of new impressions, said Anđela in interviews with local media, of which TV Dalmacija and Radio Split transmitted the festival live, whereas on Radio Salona and Radio Riva the show was repeated and reported about. In an interesting stage performance Marko Pavić acted a shepherd with a violin and a flute.
- Papa Fest is going on, because it motivates young people and suggests a message of unity which could be felt during this evening as well. We have felt that we are one heart and one soul and this is in fact the aim of the festival. John Paul II., the Croatian people loves you – said don Vinko Sanader, leader of the community Gospin otok in Solin and chairman of the Papa fest. As special guest of the evening Dražen Zečič performed his songs „Malo je“, „Oprosti svijete“ and the well-known duet with Anđela „Nema ništa novo“. FRANKFURT – More than 100.000 views were counted for the video spot „Nema ništa novo“ from Anđela Kolar and Dražen Zečić on YouTube. This magic border was passed in these days and is an additional indication for the great new success of the popular duet. Compared with all songs from Croatia Records which are available as a video spot on YouTube, „Nema ništa novo“ has by far the most views. According to various comments on the web page, the Internet-audience is still crazy about Anđela and Zečić.
07.07.2008: ONE MORE SPECTACULAR CONCERT IN SPLIT
SPLIT – One more spectacular concert of Dražen Zečić and Anđela Kolar took place in the popular Vanilla Club in Split. A big number of Zečić' fans from Slovenia, Istria and of course Dalmatia was enthusiastic about Anđela's performance. More than thousand people sang the new hit „Nema ništa novo“. During the legendary song „Ima li nade za nas“ torchs were illuminated all around the Poljud swimming stadium above which surface the stage was installed. Not even a few raindrops could tarnish the great atmosphere. A great number of celebrity from Split enjoyed in the performance of Zečić and Anđela, among others former NBA-star Dino Rađa and soccer player Ivica Mornar. 24.06.2008: SPECTACULAR CONCERT IN SPLIT VERY SOON
SPLIT – The first week-end in July in Split is not only reserved for the Split festival, but also for one more great concert of Dražen Zečić and his guest Anđela Kolar. The concert will take place on Friday, July 4th in the Vanilla club near the stadium of Hajduk Split. A big number of visitors is expected due to the fact that the outward area of the popular Vanilla club will also be open. There is no doubt that there will be a great atmosphere in Split again, of course the original performance of the hits „Ima li nade za nas“ and „Nema ništa novo“ included.
16.06.2008: ANDJELA AS MEMBER OF JURY IN TAMM
LUDWIGSBURG – Together with her colleagues Jeronim Marić (Adastra band) and Srećko Boban, Anđela Kolar was member of the jury of this year's competition „The microphone is yours“ which was held in Tamm near Ludwigsburg. 19 young performers from all over Germany and Switzerland presented well-known songs during a nice evening which was organized by the Croatian catholic community Ludwigsburg in cooperation with House of sounds. The jury chose the winners of the competition evaluating their singing, body language, choreography and styling. The winner was Blago Galić, Natalia Mihaljević was second placed. Ivana Jažo was third. The audience award also went to Natalia Mihaljević. – This competition is a great event and a nice chance for young talents. Although it was not easy to choose a winner, I enjoyed very much to be in Tamm tonight, said Anđela who also presented two of her songs during the evening. 10.06.2008: ANDJELA WITH TWO SONGS IN CHARTS
ZAGREB – On the newest top lists of Croatian radio channels within HR Top 20, Anđela Kolar is present with two songs. Th well-known duet „Nema ništa novo“ still is placed on the domestic charts of Radio Jadranka Mali Lošinj (second place), Radio Orahovica (sixth place), Gradski radio (seventh place), Radio Slavonija (eighth place) and Radio Drniš (tenth place).
Anđela's new song „Buduće godine“ from the Croatian Radio Festival 2008 is placed on number 4 of the list of Radio Vukovar, and the sixth place of the charts of Radio Požega. The song „Buduće godine“ is accepted better and better by the audience although it was not chosen into the final of the Radio Festival in Opatija.
07.06.2008: INTERVIEW WITH RADIO POZEGA
POŽEGA – Anđela Kolar was guest in a live show „Croatian top list“ on radio Požega. Anđela's new song „Buduće godine“ from Croatian radio festival was accepted very well in Slavonia and besides Požega is also placed on radio Vukovar. – I am very glad that the audience likes the song. Thanks to all that have voted for „Buduće godine“, said Anđela announcing that soon there will be more solo songs. – First of all I would like to choose a song with high quality. Therefore we are not under pressure due to periods for registration on festivals. When we find a song that fits to me, we will record it and publish it, said Anđela nevertheless still hoping to appear on the festival in Požega. Being asked about her performance on Papa-fest with the song „Ti si mojoj duši mir“, Anđela said that sacred music accompanied her all her life and that it is a kind of support making possible security and calmness. This is the reason why Anđela is very pleased to participate in the festival in Solin. – I would like to greet all hearers on Radio Požega and the whole of Slavonia. OPATIJA – Although she did not make the whole way to the finals of this year's Croatian radio festival, Anđela Kolar visited Opatija during the festival acitivities and once again promoted her song „Buduće godine“ which is placed better and better on a lot of charts in Croatia, mainly in Slavonia. – I am not disappointed at all to have not reached the pop finals. I came to Opatija to support my colleague Dražen Zečić, but also to have a talk to and meet other musicians and friends of mine. It is nice to be in Opatija where I already performed during the elections for Miss Croatia, said Anđela at the same time appreciating the efforts of the crowd, radio editors and all fans who have voted for the new song of our singer from Darmstadt. ZAGREB/OPATIJA – After the participants in the semifinals od this years Croatian radio festival in Opatija (30th and 31st May) have been announced, Anđela Kolar was guest in a radio show about Dražen Zečić's song „Idi“ on Narodni radio.
Although she was not nominated for the final in Opatija, Anđela was not disappointed and said that she will come to Opatija in order to support Dražen and also to get to know the atmosphere of the festival.
- Of course I wished that the song „Buduće godine“ came to the finals, but this is also part of the business. It is more important for me that the audience accepts the song and that people like it, said Anđela.
Moderator Dalibor Petko confirmed that the first reactions on the song „Buduće godine“ are very good and that in Opatija there will be a lot of interest for Anđela, among other things because of the fact that she lives in Germany and still is quite rarely present on the Croatian scene.
After she was asked how the cooperation with Zečić looks when a new song has to be recorded, Anđela explained that Dražen calls her on the phone and then sings and plays on the guitar. – This is how I heard the duet „Nema ništa novo“ for the first time, said Anđela who will now go further step by step towards her first solo album. – We are going from festival to festival. There is no hurrying, because the album has to be prepared carefully. A lot of things have to be deciced, but the most important thing is that we work fair and with all our heart, said Anđela Kolar and Dražen Zečić.
03.05.2008: CONCERT IN ZÜRICH
ZÜRICH – The Croatian spring concert in Zürich attracted more than 400 guests inside the hotel Spirgarten. The crowd enjoyed in well-known songs from the main guests of the evening Dražen Zečić and Mate Bulić. Anđela Kolar presented herself by performing the top hits „Ima li nade za nas“ and „Nema ništa novo“. This was Anđela's first live performance in front of Croats in Switzerland. 15.4.2008: I'M NOT ZECIC IN A SKIRT,CD COMING SOON
ZAGREB – The radio show „Waiting for the Croatian radio festival“ with editor Dalibor Petko from Narodni radio welcomed on Tuesday evening Anđela Kolar. Anđela said that the song „Buduće godine“ from HRF 2008 is the first step towards her first solo album. – After the duet "Nema ništa novo" with Dražen Zečić we have decided to go a step further. At the moment we are in the period of selecting songs for my first album, said Anđela.
When the question was posed to her whether she is a „Zečić with a skirt“, Anđela said that of course this is not the case. – Thank God, no. Dražen and me are good colleagues, but in fact maybe a skirt would fit him quite good. So I am sure we could come to terms, told the singer who now is preparing her first solo CD with Dražen Zečić. Anđela amazed the audience during her performance within the anniversary concert of Dražen Zečić in the Zagreb sports arena Cibona. After she sang two duets, the crowd wanted to hear more and the Croatian singer from Darmstadt decided for an a capella version of "Amazing Grace". – Dražen whispered to me that I should demonstrate myself. It was all very spontaneous and „Amazing grace“ was the only song I had in my mind in this moment. The most beautiful things happen spontaneously and I am sure I will remember this concert all my life, said Anđela Kolar whose performance was followed by a breathless audience. In the end of the interview at Narodni radio Anđela said that she was looking forward to visit Opatija in case that the song „Buduće godine“ will qualify for the final.
14.04.2008: CROATIAN NIGHT IN FRANKFURT
FRANKFURT – Anđela Kolar performed together with Dražen Zečić during the big concert called „Croatian night“ in Ballsporthalle Frankfurt. In front of more than two thousand visitors Anđela sang the hits „Nema ništa novo“ and „Ima li nade za nas“. The crowd was overwhelmed and it can be noticed that the audience in Frankfurt is accepting very well the song „Nema ništa novo“ which still can be found in the Croatian charts.
Besides Dražen and Anđela in Frankfurt also performed Mate Bulić, Miroslav Škoro and Prljavo kazalište, Robert Čolina and Cibalia bend, Zdravko Škender, Pipa Krtalić, Dado and Matrix as well as Goran Škerlep. From Zagreb a tv-team from CMC came to the concert. An interview with Anđela was also recorded and will be shown in these days on CMC as part of a report from the Croatian night in Frankfurt. 07.04.2008: SPECTACULAR CONCERT "GOLDEN FLOWER"!
FRANKFURT – The spectacular event and award „Golden Flower of Slobodna Dalmacija“ which took place in Midas Limes Forum Grosskrotzenburg near Frankfurt had its climax in the performances of Anđela Kolar, Dražena Zečić and the band Impulsi. Accompanied by Impulsi, Anđela performed a set of chosen songs, two duets with Marko Pavić, frontman of Impulsi, and the special guest of the evening Dražen Zečić.
The hits „Nema ništa novo“ and „Ima li nade za nas“ were absolutely the best elements of the evening and the atmosphere among the crowd and guests was magnificent. – I am very glad to have performed after a quite long time in front of, so to say, my „home audience“. Of course I appreciate very much that Dražen came as a guest. Thanks a lot to Impulsi for the great cooperation, said Anđela who will perform on several other concerts very soon. Of course the final days of the Croatian radio festival are also approaching including Anđela participating with the solo song „Buduće godine“.
19.03.2008: ANDJELA PERFORMING SOLO ON HRF 2008
ZAGREB – After within the Croatian music festival Dora (for Grand Prix Eurovision de la chanson) almost every song contained the words „anđeo“ or „anđeli“ (= angels), the director of the Croatian Radio Festival Juraj Hrvačič while publishing the names of the performers of this year's HRF in Opatija (30th and 31st May 2008) commented: „We do not have as many songs containing the words „anđeo“ or „anđeli“, but therefore we managed to separate our singer Anđela from Dražen Zečić“.
Anđela will participate in the Croatian Radio Festival with the solo song „Buduće godine“ which already can be heard on all main Croatian radio stations and which in the beginning is accepted very well by the audience.
23.02.2008: VECERNJI LIST AWARDS "DOMOVNICA"
BAD HOMBURG – Anđela Kolar was invitated to the awards "Domovnica" organised by the Croatian newspaper Večernji list in the nice Kursaal Bad Homburg. Within the program there were performances by the band Flyer from Zagreb, Impulsi and some other individual artists. Anđela was placed among the three most popular singers living outside of Croatia and she had a nice time with the winner Nicole Jukić (see photo). Anđela received a lot of compliments by well-known guests in the Kursaal who congratulated her for her new tophit „Nema ništa novo“. – Thanks a lot to all readers of Večernji list who voted for me and recognised my work and love for singing, Anđela told us.
08.02.2008: CONCERT IN VANILLA CLUB, SPLIT
SPLIT – The Vanilla club in Split next to the stadium of Hajduk Split was really overcrowded, what can be seen as the best evidence for the actual popularitiy of Dražen Zečić and Anđela Kolar in Croatia. The well-known Croatian singer from Split created a spectacular atmosphere and Anđela Kolar performing "Nema ništa novo" and "Ima li nade za nas" was a great help to him.
"I'm really excited that the audience in Split has welcomed me so well. All of them know the text of the new song and the atmosphere is great", told Anđela after leaving the stage.
The next performances probably will take place in spring, whereas the time until Easter will be used for recording new songs.

02.02.2008: SPECTACULAR CONCERT IN ZAGREB!!
ZAGREB – With a spectacular concert in the sports hall Dražen Petrović in Zagreb, the Croatian singer Dražen Zečić celebrated 20 years of his successful career. In front of six thousand guests, Zečić performed his well-known hits with the help of the Dalmatian group Maslina and Mate Bulić.
The highlight of the concert was the appearance of Anđela Kolar on stage. Together with Zečić Anđela performed one of the most popular songs in Croatia at the moment „Nema ništa novo“. After this the two artists performed the top-hit and evergreen „Ima li nade za nas“. Fireworks, flambeaus and countless lights and cell phones produced an unforgettable ambiance. But this was not enough. By chanting "Anđela, Anđela" the audience made for an encore of the young singer from Darmstadt.
An a capella performance of "Amazing grace" in Croatian and English took away the breath of many guests, a lot of them realising for the first time in the sports hall of Cibona Zagreb Anđela's wonderful voice. Dražen Zećić thanked Anđela for her „voice of an angel“ and once again announced on stage her debut album until the end of the year.
The concert was continued with a lot of other hits by Dražen Zečić. On this evening the whole audience was very satisfied, no matter if they came from Zagreb or more distant places like Slovenia, Split, Požega, Međimurje, Čakovec, Škabrnja and of course Dražen Zečić's Blato na Cetini. The benefit of the concert which took place under patronage of the Croatian government, the city of Zagreb and many other institutions and partners, will be used for the purchase of a mobile mammograph for women in Herzegowina.

18.12.2007: FIRST PLACE ON RADIO DALMACIJA
After the song was already on top on December 11th, "Nema nista novo" performed by Andjela and Drazen Zecic is again on first place at the well-known charts Top 33 Radio Dalmacija on 18.12.2007.
08.12.2007: PROMOTION IN SPLIT
Andjela was guest during the promotion of Drazen Zecic' new CD in Split. The event took place in the Le Meridien Hotel Lav in Split. There were a lot of prominent persons and celebrities like minister Dragan Primorac, Robert Jarni, Mate Bulic, Stojko Vrankovic, Alen Nizetic, Jelena Rozga, Mladen Grdovic, Vinko Coce, Vlatko Dolonga, Jole, Cubi, Zrinka, presenters Anja, Barbara and Sanja from CMC as well as a lot of other well-known guests. In the evening there was a concert in the new opened Joker centre in Split. The guests there could see on stage Andjela and Drazen Zecic, but also Jole, Mate Bulic, Jelena Rozga and many others....Please have a look at the photos in our gallery!! 25.11.2007: FIRST PLACE ON CMC
On the Croatian music channel (CMC) the video spot for the song "Nema nista novo" was elected hit of the week on November, 10th 2007. In the meantime the spot has already been on the first place of the weekly charts "Pepsi Top Spot".
13.10.2007: NEW SONG FEAT. DRAZEN ZECIC
Since October 2007 Andjela Kolar and Drazen Zecic are on all main charts in Croatia with the song "Nema nista novo". A video spot for the new hit was recorded in Zablace near Sibenik.
